“In addition to the wine tastings we host each month, we are extremely excited to be hosting our first wine and food festival,” said Jason Heetland, owner and general manager of the store located in Old Town Scottsdale. “There’s going to be a great mix of Arizona wines, food, and local artisan goods, it should be a great time for everyone. Our Old Town Scottsdale location is an ideal place to host a fair to promote and support local products and businesses.”

Participating wineries will sample each of the varietals that are carried at the market. Admission to the festival is free, while those who wish to enjoy tasting samples can do so for $6 or $10 for two people (which includes a commemorative wine glass and tasting tickets). All wines are available for in-store purchase, local and national delivery, or for inclusion in gift baskets.

Sphinx Ranch Gourmet Gift Market is a boutique gourmet market that first opened in Scottsdale in 1951. Throughout the years, the date ranch has been offering Medjool dates, Calimyrna figs, pistachios, almonds, locally-made honey, eight varieties of salsa, corn chips, locally-baked cookies and breads, locally-roasted coffee as well as the Ranch’s famous date shakes and now Arizona wine. This unique family-run business was purchased by the Heetland family in 1978. The store occupies one of Scottsdale’s few original historic ranch houses. I usually don’t send comments, but this is an exception. I receive a bottle of your kokopelli wine, White Zinfandel, as a gift from my girlfriend who was down in your area visiting her daughter. I just wanted to say that I am a wine drinker and I find this zinfandel an excellent tasting wine. I will be looking into possible ordering some more on line, as I said
” GREAT WINE, WAY TO GO”.

  4. Fine Tutorial I’ll send this article to 2 friends of mine he is searching online for a Guide like these.
    Greetings,
    Michael
